El verismo
Dentro de una nueva tendencia artística, llamada Nueva objetividad, surgió el verismo (término derivado de la palabra latina veritas: verdad), movimiento que representaba exageradamente cada escena de la vida diaria de la República de Weimar, que fue como se conoció un período de la historia alemana que abarcó desde el fin de la Primera Guerra Mundial hasta el advenimiento del nacionalsocialismo (1918-1933).
