Bulgaria

Bulgaria is bounded to the north by Romania, to the west by Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia, to the south by Greece and to the east by the Black Sea and Turkey.

Its economy is based mainly on its iron, charcoal and other deposits. The Executive branch is headed by the president, who is also the Head of State and the Commander in Chief of the armed forces. The Bulgarian Parliament (National Assembly) is unicameral and made up of 249 deputies.
